As an artist, woodcarver and teacher over the years I have put great demands on my body. I use my hands for intricate and delicate work, I sometimes spend hours pounding a piece of wood, hours on my feet followed by a fair amount of heavy lifting. When I first started seeing Dr. Curcuruto I had been experiencing chronic discomfort in my lower back and intermittent pain and impairment of my feet, hands and shoulders. With her guidance I have eliminated these problems from occurring on a daily basis. On the occasions when my work has put me under more physical and emotional stress I now have the tools to quickly recover or to completely avoid injury altogether. Many times when I have had a difficult work task to do, she has helped me to come up with strategies to avoid problems. Truly Amazing! She is the best!! I have been seeing Dr. Mia Curcuruto on and off for over 1 year. My neck was stuck from stress, computer and daily life. I couldn't really move it.
